Scroll down to read details about each extruder but to answer the obvious question:
"What is the difference between the green one and the silver one?"

The green extruder is made of aluminum. PMC (precious metal clay) does not react well with aluminum so the stainless steel (silver) version was created. If you will be using your clay gun often, the silver gun is the one for you. It will last longer. All the Makin's discs work in either one.

No more extruder helpers needed!  Both clay extruders are very easy to use and clean.  The Ultimate Clay Extruder ™ (Green) comes with 20 disc designs and the Professional Extruder comes with 10 disc designs, all to create many different embellishments for working with Polymer Clay.  Use the round discs for vines, stems, borders and letters and the screen discs are great for hair, grass, straw and floral stamens.  Use the flat slot discs for weaving baskets like the one in Recycling with Polymer Clay, lattice, ribbons and bows.  The square, triangle and half round discs are for bricks, logs, borders and cut pieces to use for small beads.  The extruded shapes are great for working into canes. All the extruder discs can be used with either extruder.
