You need a quick gift or maybe you would like to brighten your own refrigerator!
Follow these instructions for this quick and easy project.

Supplies:  Conditioned Clay ~ Green and Flower Color of your choice
Poly Clay Play's Daisy Poly Press or your favorite stamp
Magnet Strip or Small Magnet

Tools:  Needle tool or sharp tool for drawing leaf veins
Optional: Medium Leaf shaped clay cutter (We used Kemper's Klay Kutter)
Pasta Machine or rolling tool (acrylic roller or smooth glass)

Basic Instructions

1.  Roll out yellow (or your choice of flower color) and green clay to approximately ⅛" thick (The thickest setting of your pasta machine if using one)
2.  Use your favorite release agent on Poly Clay Play's Daisy Poly Press or your favorite stamp and press 3 flowers as shown.
3.  Using a clay knife or tool of you choice, cut around the daisies as desired.
4.  Using the leaf cutter, cut out 5 leaves and press them against the flowers as shown.
5.  Using a needle tool, draw veins in the leaves.
6.  If desired, add a little Pearl Ex to the centers and the leaves to give the piece some shine.
7.  Bake according to clay manufacturers instructions.  Let your piece cool.
8.  Glue a magnet to the back.
9.  Make several and you have a great last minute gift or a fun decor for yourself.

Other ideas:  Skip step 7 and glue your piece to a note pad or gift box or use a glue dot or double stick tape to add it to your scrapbook page.
Glue it to the corner of a picture frame.  Send your ideas and pictures of your finished magnets and we may post them here.
