A Little about Dolores Marple

Dolores is a wonderful artist with lots of
new and fresh ideas for you to enjoy!

I have been creative all my life. I grew up in upstate NY and remember drawing, catching bugs, and having an interest in anything that was alive. I enjoyed college where I studied horses! After that I had various jobs and raised a daughter, all those things that put art into the background.

I now have twin grandsons and no job. I have returned to everything I love. I draw, tell stories, and sculpt the world that has lived in my head all those years. This magical place is called Hob Knobby Hollow- A place within the heart. Trolls, fairies and creatures live there and I try to tell the stories on my blog and sell the characters in my Etsy shop. I now live in southern Indiana which is much warmer than New York so I walk in the woods every day. I keep animals and I make art. I am very happy these days. It's as if the world turned into what it was always meant to be, for me.
